I don't think that's true. If the SEC came calling, both would probably leave. But I don't think either leaves for the Big 12.
When is the last time you saw a big name school leave a top-level, stable conference, for another one? All the other moves have been from lesser conferences or instable conferences to(Big East to ACC, Big 12 to Pac-10/SEC/Big 10).
