but it's apparent that footprint is important. Brand is also very important, which FSU has. Clemson I don't think is a nationally important brand. Nebraska was. And Nebraska added another thing that was important - it evened out the Big 10 and gave them a title game. Also, e-mails from Delany to Gee (tOSU's president) made clear that the Big 10's plan wasn't to stop at Nebraska only.
But looking at it from the Big 12's prospective, they would clearly want to add in FSU and Clemson, even if the increase in revenue isn't dramatic. It will add a title game and stabilize the conference.
The real question is not from the Big 12's viewpoint, but FSU's and Clemson's. Will they want to move from an east coast conference to a midwest conference that was teetering on implosion each of the past two years? And for what, more money is great, but not the only piece.
