could they be more effective - yeah, but eliminating the TSA is just a retarded idea (leave it to one of the nutjob pauls to promote this concept.)

Has the presence of body scanners & groping contributed to preventing another WTC disaster? who knows - if there is the potential for this type of intrusive scanning to prevent terrorism in the sky, then so be it. I'm perfectly happy to go through the screening process & hope that everyone else on board the planes I am traveling is thoroughly screened as well.
