I guess he didn't read on this forum how the Big 12 is meaningless, and was doomed to fail, and blah, blah, blah blah, blah.

It will suck in 10 years when you are a punching bag in the sec, you gave up the tiny amount of tradition you had going, and the Big 12 is thriving, and your paychek is the same or lower than what us dumb mid westerners are getting.
