Guys don't get to set their roles for a coaching staff. I think coaches take transfers with expectations, but the kid should have only one expectation and that is a fair chance.
Having said that I won't mind if he starts. I don't really care who starts, who is 6th man or who is redshirted (if any are). I just want a good team that plays hard. If so, the winning will come.
