they will have to trim their athletic department budget by $2.4 mil this year. Unlike UF's which is funded by the private UAA, fsu's athletic department is funded by the state.
Remember when y'all were talking about UF consolidating its Computer Science department just last week? Budget cuts from the state.
Why is fsu's athletic department not able to pay for itself while UF's runs a profit and donates $6 mil to the university every year? Here. Let me show you why.

They didn't even pay for their stadium. The Taxpayers of the state of Florida did.
