schools like Alabama, Florida, Tenn that have athletic budgets that are $30,$40, $50 million dollars more than mu's aren't 800-pound gorilla's?

You guys actually think they won't weld their power if they have to in the SEC?

Look at the numbers, there's every bit the disparity in the SEC in the fiancials as there is in the Big 12. What's Vandy's athletic budget . . . $40 million? Their athletic department was rolled into their student recreational services or something like that a few years ago.
