disputable? Ferentz has never won the Big 10 outright. Shared it. Like winning the North in the Big 12. I really couldn't care. Again, BCS Bowls mean nothing. Win it all or it's another Bowl game. I'll take the Cotton and #4 over the Orange and #7 any day. I don't think anyone would disagree.
Pinkel had a bigger rebuilding job. Our program was putrid. Amazing job of getting us here in a tougher Conference.
Yes, we did lose to Iowa in the Bowl game. Blaine made a very big mistake. Whatever. Happens. We also beat OU and Texas the past 2 years, but I wouldn't argue Pinkel is better than Stoops or Brown.
NFL picks are a measuring stick? How many did the Illini have versus Mizzou this year? In that case, shouldn't the Illini be better? Again, means nothing.
This is like reading your droning about how the SEC is not a good basketball Conf. when the #s show it's up there with the Big East and ACC as the top Conf.
I think you're still feeling the pain of the Arch Rivalry football games. It's OK. You're spared the beatdown of playing us.
Pinkel is a better coach and honestly, recently is all that counts. Snapshot of when Pinkel finally got the program turned shows Mizzou is a better program than Iowa. End of story.
