Last year, there were at least five teams in the SEC that were better than the Big East and the ACC champ. Maybe 6.
ACC
The best teams were VA Tech (1-3 record against ranked teams) and Clemson (4-2 against ranked teams, but lost 70-33 in a bowl game. Need I go farther?)
Big East
The best teams were Cincy who barely beat 6-7 Vanderbilt in a bowl game and West Virginia who played a whopping 3 ranked teams and beat 6-7 Pittsburgh by a point.
The SEC had better teams in:
Alabama
LSU
Arkansas
Georgia
South Carolina
Auburn probably was better. They went 8-5 with losses to Alabama, LSU, Georgia, and Arkansas.
SEC dominates in Football. The ACC and The Big East belong nowhere near a BCS game. This has been proven over and over and over again.
