he (Mike Blakely) was an early enrollee. He attended Spring Practice and then transferred citing the change of Offense and because "I don't like Oak trees" (you just can't make that stuff up).
It seems somebody forgot to tell him there would be Oak Trees in Gainesville...even though he's a Florida boy and there are oak trees all over the state. Somebody also forgot to tell him there are Oak Trees in Auburn, Alabama too.
He was well thought of coming out of HS. Whether he will deal with the changes now and try to make something of himself or run away again remains to be seen. I hope its the former though. He screwed us by bailing so soon after signing such that we missed out on getting a Tailback in that class and I would hate to see any of our opponents/rivals benefit in any way from it.
