ANY of the other original big 6 members (of course, aside from the nubs, who already left) that would have had the chance to leave, would have. in fact, oklahoma tried already, and kansas, ksu, and isu were all making their preliminary calls to other conferences as well.

i don't deny that the affiliation with the SEC in some way diminishes the kU/MU rivalry, but the schools remain adjacent geographically and tied historically in hatred.

get with the program. Youngun is probably a misnomer.
