You are confusing the concept of controling the economy with that of having nothing to do with the economy.

We certainly want the government to have something to do with the economy. Keep restrictive and harmful regulations away, keep taxes reasonable, enact trade policies that create an evironment for growth, incentivise risk taking and free market forces.

Words mean things, as you have said so many times. In this case, you are way off base.
