is have a freshman year where he is competing for minutes with extremely talented players on a top 10 team, and then as a sophomore transition into a go-to guy on an elite level team that is in the national spotlight. That is the ideal growth path for an elite level player and road to the NBA, unless they are focused simply on getting to the NBA as fast as possible. Because getting to the NBA as fast as possible generally results in sitting on a bench or playing in the D-league.
