When Phil is a senior, we are going to need a guy with scoring ability that we could potentially base an offense around. Phil, Pollard, and Ross would be a good nucleus on the offensive end.

The biggest reason he would pick Alabama over MU is if he is focused on the short term, as he would likely play a somewhat limited role as a freshman at MU. If he is thinking longer term than that, its sort of hard to envision other than proximity to home what advantage Alabama might have (but as with anything recruiting we have no idea what is important to him or how he weighs criteria).

The person who stands to sacrifice the most minutes next year if Pollard chooses MU is likely Pollard himself.
