It must be challenging to be the intern assigned to writing that piece and trying to formulate comments in the fashion in which he would speak them.
The job he did commentating MU this year really turned me off on the guy, he was always a caricature to an extent but he was extremely unprofessional in terms of his comments about conference re-alligment and MU's role in it. That said, I was watching a game he did around 1990 on tape the other day...and it kept ocurring to me as odd that he was only talking about the teams playing. It was almost striking. And then I realized that pre-dated Duke's assention to the top, and it was back in the era when he still talked about relevant things. For those that only know him now, he did use to be a good color guy at one point.
