I still contend that recruiting Chicago is no different than recruiting in any other large urban area except there are just many more players in Chicago. I think the majority of Top 25 players in the city, just as elsewhere, are on the take. Tate and others at Simeon are not. DRose was. ADavis was. These are top 5 national players. Parker is #1 in his class but that's a recruitment that is clean.

Unless you have existing relationships with HS/AAU/agents/runners, you can't' ascertain a) who is calling the shots in a recruitment of a Top 25 player; b) whether or not the kid/his parents/others have their hands out.
