about the bedrock was when Mel Sheehan was the AD and funded a study prior to building the south end zone seats in the '70s. The report merely said that it would be prohibitively expensive and that building the south endzone seats would be a cheaper option.
I would think that demolition engineering and earth moving has advanced in the ensuing 40 years. I'm looking at how engineers can bring down buildings in very tight quarters with dynamite, and, as you said, take the top off of mountains.
The real point is that Mizzou still has less expensive options to expand Memorial Stadium. I would think that we need to demonstrate a real need first.
