Credit is just acknowledging someone was part of anything

Thanks is an expression of gratitude.

You can Credit someone with something without showing them any thanks or gratitude.

Again I had just asked if you had heard or seen anyone saying thank you in any forum. You responded many times with credit, ok, that's a good answer for a different question.

When I asked had you seen in anyway someone say thank you. You asked yourself your own unrelated question about a thank you card and answered it. Had you just said yes or no I would have tried to ask you te same question 8 times.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
