The Big Dance is a random assortment of hot teams and upsets in a small 6 game period that is not at all a good barometer of how consistent or good a winning program is. It's a one shot deal where anything can happen, where Lehigh can beat Duke. It's celebrated in this country because we all love the drama of it, but it's the least representative of rewarding the true best teams of any sport in the country. College football bases its NC game off the full season; the pro leagues use playoff series to avoid the one game random upset scenario. March Madness gets its name cuz its the nutty one.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
