Best Team: 2000-01 ; Finished 27-8, #3 seed in the tournament and made the Sweet Sixteen

Best Player: Johnny Neumann. The original �one and done� player played for Ole Miss during the 1970-71 season. He scored a program record 63 against LSU, and has the top 5 single game scoring out puts for Old Miss on his way to a program record 923 points on the season and a 40.1 ppg avg. He was an All American and SEC Player of the Year. Became first player in basketball history to sign a Hardship Clause and signed a 5 year $2 contract with the ABA.

Most famous moment: Similar to MU and Tyus Edney, Ole Miss is on the losing end of the infamous Bryce Drew buzzer beater for Valpo in the 1998 NCAA tournament
