I was aked about Georgia demographic, and after some prompting from pickle, here is my best answer:



let me say this before I say anything else; I have not a racist bone in my body. Now.
Georgia has more black atheletes. I can not say it any other way, nor can that be sugar coated. There is a higher saturation of black athletes in Atlanta, south Georgia, north Florida. There are entire county schools in the middle of nowhere Georgia/Florida that are predominantly or all black. These areas are typically very poor with no industry to support them in adult life. These teams are well coached, and contain a preponderance of goal oriented student athletes who want to have a chance at a better life. With the influence of a good coach, good parenting, and a desire to provide themselves with a better education, job and life, these kids will work their entire lives at becoming the best they can be. Given any athletic ability at all, these kids work to perfect that craft.
I know that may have sounded a bit like sugar coating, but it is the truth. Some of that is part of the SEC mystique as well. I hope this on no way offends anyone, and I tried to be as delicate as I could. I did not originally on the open forum, because I know some readers may have picked it apart. if I have offended you in any way, then you have my apologies.
