because it shares a currency w/ the rest of the EU, including Germany

which is forcing austerity on Greece

if Greece could issue debt in its own currency it would be fine

Germany and Denmark are doing fine

and they have the largest welfare states relative to GDP

much bigger than ours and spain's

so your analysis abt Greece's problems relative to monetary and fiscal policy

is wrong
