here is my political prediction for the future

i think mitt romney will win

and i think Republicans will take majorities in both houses

and the Court will be packed w/ more "conservative" activist judges

and all business enterprise, particularly wall street, will be totally unregulated

and we will enter into a new gilded age of laissez faire free market capitalism

and we will have a new era of wrenching horrific cycles of depression economics caused by terrible financial crises

and wealth will be concentrated into the hands of fewer and fewer people

and the middle class will almost entirely disappear

the welfare state and all its safety nets will be eliminated

and Engel's account of poverty in 19th Century gilded age will return to America

and most Americans will live horrific lives of economic desperation and poverty

which "conservatives" will deem the natural order of inequality
