First of all higher taxes do not mean waste. In your mind it does because you have a fixed personality. The medicare system runs more efficiently than private health care ( I will look it up for you if I have to) there are a lot of things that the government does very well. just like private industry it depends on who is managing it. We have all observed poorly managed businesses , athletic programs and schools the University of Missouri was a prime example. Really we do not need to be condescending. I probably have a more diverse life experience than you.
