I'm saying. Taking a new marketing tactic does not mean old tactics failed or were bad.

Because Nike still sponsors college teams. That's why.
"They are Nike, they don't need much marketing because their reputation is huge and literally everyone in America knows who they are because of previous marketing."
So Nike, Coke and pepsi could increase their profit margins by gigantic numbers if they just stopped advertising? You should tell them this, if youc ould just get a small cut of that % profit you'd be one of the richest people on the planet.
