Yet they struggle so mightily with making people think "Nike" when they see their jerseys.

I think Nike has done great with Marketing to the point it "hurts" them, everyone is desensitized to Nike. It doesn't matter if they see Nike jerseys or other people wearing Nike sh*t, they probably won't notice but we still all buy Nike.

But we don't buy it because we saw someone wearing Nike yesterday, we buy it because everyone knows what Nike is regardless of who they sponsor.
