The primary reason cited for Prop 8 (Constitutional Amendment forbidding Gay Marriage in CA) passing in 2008 was the large number of blacks that voted for Obama and against gay marriage. If Obama wasn't on the ballot, the black turnout would have been "normal" and Prop 8 would have lost...
