the series, but kU fans certainly lost interest quickly.

We have a model for the future of the series...the MU/U of I series in STL. The series even includes the "Wooden Bat Classic" in which Mizzou and the Illini use wooden bats for baseball games at STL area minor league stadiums.

I agree that the series will resume sooner or later, but it's going to be interesting to see how kU administrators spin the facts when they swallow their pride and agree to play MU. I'm really looking forward to how they're going to claim that it was their idea all along to play Mizzou.
