we've had a nonconference rivalry in both football and basketball with Illinois and it has worked great. The games sell out, they get on national TV, it's fun for everyone. It won't be a problem.

I suspect this is what will happen in 2 or 3 years once the folks at ku realize how much money they're leaving on the table by not playing these games.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
