will also be rivals with Arkansas...it just seems to fit.

I agree with what you posted on what constitutes a rivalry.

I'd add that the each school's fan base should live next to each other (neighboring states or shared city).

As far as ku goes, there's ksu, isu, ou and osu. I guess you could try to start something with nu or cu. Not much there to get excited about because none of those schools will meet your #3...but that's not my problem. ku can try to make a rivalry with a big time program like kentucky...but it won't mean anything to kentucky fans (won't meet your #1). Honestly I think ku is just out of luck with regards to having a rival. I hope it stays that way. MU already has enough rivals.
