In 1918-19, the jayhawks finished behind now DIII Grinnell in the conference race. They also claim a Mo Valley title in 1911-12 despite a conf record of 6-2 to Nebraska's 8-0, and a Mo Valley title in 1912-13 despite a conf record of 7-3 to Nebraska's 10-0. It wasn't until the 1920-21 season (the 15th year of the Conference) that a uniform amount of conference games was played, until that point nobody had the same amount of final conference games.
