Do you think depth in a conference is good?

I'm just asking, because I'd probably say yes. Depth in a conference is good because it would prepare teams for the tournament. But I think that argument would be proven false when looking at conferences with depth vs. conferences without much depth.

I know this is kind of off the subject, but I figured I'd ask here anyways instead of starting a new thread.
