People may not remember the 3 "losing" teams in a given Final Four, but they DO pay close attention to how many FFs a school has made it to.

Obviously there is a WINNER each year, but NCAA hoops comes as close as any other sport to having multiple winners (lowercase) each year. After the initial disappointment wears off, nobody ever looks back at a FF year as a disappointing year, they are just too damn hard to get to.
