On the topic of Final Fours

MU obviously has never reached that level in the NCAA tournament, failing to advance the 5 times they reached the final 8 teams.

In 2002, MU got 6th in the Big 12 and was a 12 seed in the NCAA tournament. They advanced to play OU in the Elite Eight, and came up 6 points short largely due to an atrocious shooting day of 1-16 from the field by Clarence Gilbert. If instead of shooting 6% from the field he shoots 18% that day, and then the Tigers lost their next game....is there any MU fan that would consider the 2002 season among the top 5 in program history, much less the best?
