What this tells me is that the SEC has plenty of potential

to be one of the top 2 or 3 conferences in basketball. That's what they were not too long ago.

Kentucky has always been strong, and Florida has been solid lately, but Arkansas, Tennessee, LSU, and MSU have all had strong runs a few years back, as has Texas A&M, and Missouri has been solid to good.

No reason to think the SEC can't be a top basketball program. Thy're not there right now, but it can happen relatively soon.
