lose at home. I believe they have 4 total home conference losses since Self got there, you literally have to be at least 15 points better than them on the given day and even that sometimes isn't sufficient. That is a huge boost to accumulating the best regular season record.

4 times in the last 10 years ku has finished the season as a top 5 team. They haven't been overly dominant, the Big 12 is just not a very good basketball conference and it is skewed towards them winning it (granted, MU hasn't been holding up its end of the bargin for the most part in making it a good conference).
