feeders in the b12 have ups and downs. ksu was a bottom feeder and now they aren't. TT had some decent years. Baylor is having some good years right now.
I think that just shows that there is a smaller gap between the top teams and the bottom teams in the big12. The bottom feeders are better in the b12 than the bottom feeders in the SEC. But that also means that the top teams in the big12 aren't really all that great either.
This can go back and forth. Honestly I don't really care that much. The big12 has proven that it can't prepare teams to win championships. I don't see that changing any time soon with MU and a&m going to the SEC. If you think the SEC is worse than the b12, surely you have to think the SEC will be better than the big12 with the addition of MU and a&m. The big12 adding TCU is an absolute joke. Worse than NU in the B1G.
