Not sure Alden had a plan when he missed on Painter, (and not disappointed now, seeing the season he and the Tigers have had). Reports were that Alden was lobbying anyone and everyone who'd listen at the Final Four after Painter skeedaddled. Could be true, could be false, but Haith sure was on his last leg at Miami at the time. Alden must feel like he has a horseshoe up his keister, seeing how the Pinkel and now Haith hires have worked out.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
