...our conventional running game would improve significantly if we returned to the pre-Daniel distance behind the line for the QB. We simply start our running backs too far back for more conventional run plays to work more of the time, and this limits some features in our offense in favor of employing others. It rendered us more predictable without a run-heavy QB once our routes were figured out by late 2008.
