My biggest issue with the Big 12

was that it wouldn't exist in 5 years.

People keep conveniently forgetting that on September 19, 2011, the OU board agreed to look at conference options. Their AD made many public comments about exploring their options. Texas wasn't exactly shying away from Pac 12 discussions.

Nebraska, Colorado, and A&M had already left. I think a lot of people forget these facts.
