You'd also have to make some minor adjustments to the South end to get the seats to wrap around properly. Everybody wins. More seats, better sight lines, and closer to the field. You could make a pretty nice stadium in the existing footprint if you did this.
The bigger problem is parking and amenities like restrooms and concessions for the West side.
Go big or go home.
