are the most successful. In fact, all of the richest countries in the world have MORE structures in place to help people advance. All of the poorest countries in the world lack these structures.

But I'm sure that's a coincidence.

You seem to be under the delusion that successful people succeed solely through pulling themselves up by the bootstraps. Here's a newsflash. That can't be done. You have to step on something. The government can't take the step for you, but it can give you something to step on.
