he funded a study of what it would take to lower the field. It's almost solid rock underneath the field w/ the remnants of a model T truck that was accidentally blown up by the dynamite that was being used to carve out the current bowl. Faurot would have to be closed for a couple years to do it. What's really interesting is that Penn St. was faced w/ the same problem and their solution was to jack the stadium up. Since our grandstands are built into the sides of a bowl, we can't do that.
