YOU PAY MORE NOW than you would under a single payer. People who support single payer systems do so because it works. Why should you pay for my kids' education? But you do. Why should you pay to put out the fire at MY house? That was my house. We got so wasted we left cigarettes burning on a stack of WSJs. You do so because that system works. This 'single item' is the leading cause or personal financial ruin in the country. Why are you so selfish? Why are you so concerned someone might be getting away with something? EVERY OTHER SYSTEM works. Ours doesn't. What is so hard to see?
