DC tried to fire teachers for performance. The Union stepped in and all the teachers were re-hired. In New York City they have a building with over 800 "teachers" who can't be fired bc of tenure. They pay them to sit in a building all day. The state of IL has fired something crazy like 20 teachers since 72. It is almost impossible.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
