I see it more as simply a predictable result of cultural conditioning. So, it came naturally, just as it would for most of us to have whatever the more typical reactions would be.

I will admit its a good attitude to have. Very practical. It results in far less stress and what that brings.

But I could NEVER feel that way about the refs in the last game.
