So why again would it make sense for KU to play MU?

I have heard from several people since saturday that have talked about wanting the rivalry to continue. The number 1 reason I have heard recently: "We could have SOOO many more games like the one from yesterday." For any of you with THAT particular mindset...if we could have so many more games like that one, why haven't we had more of them so far? Rivalry is over 100 years old, somehow there have only been top 5 match-ups like 4 times. The current level of strength is not something that Mizzou has shown they can sustain long term. This year is only the second year in the last DECADE that playing Mizzou improved SOS/RPI. TWICE. IN A DECADE. Chew on that one for a little bit.
