Buy and hold is usually as good or better

than the alternatives, for one simple reason. No one can judge the market short term. And WS is hard to beat, partly because, IMO, there is a lot of chicanery going on, short term. I went to a Roth, and I'm 70. Stick with it.
Now, I like dividend stuff. There is a lot out there, at 5 to 20%, in ETF's and MLP's. Mine is in mostly energy, oil, gas, with some gold and silver. Because I am afraid of a BIG downturn, am looking to get out of the market for awhile.
