We have literally .000000001% chance of anything like that happening...and frankly if it does, money will mean nothing anyways...only ammo, foor, and water at that point. Commission is cheap...I can get a trade on e-trade for $7.00, but I also get 100 free trades a year with Wells Fargo. LTCG rate is 15 or 20% depending on your income...it is the short term capital gains that cost you money..plus if gold goes down, you are protected on the tzx side.

Not against what you said, just easier to do everything online..and you can sell in an instant....who knows...dealers may change the way they buy as well.
