Where to put cash?

Hit a four-bagger today with HK and cashed in (held in IRAs.) Sitting on about 50% cash - still hold CNQ & IMPUY.PK, and various mutual funds.) Obviously nervous about the impact of a budget deal - market's going to react whether the idiots in DC get a deal or don't get one.

Would you stay on the sidelines until the budget crisis passes, or get back in. I still like the NG sector as a long-term play - researching some others in that sector, but today wasn't a buyback day with the HK news. Interested in other opinions.
